I hold a PhD in Italian Studies from Cornell University.

I write for Il manifesto’s cultural sections and have written for various magazines, mainly on cinema, culture, and theory. I translated A fine turno (Ombre Corte, 2021), and my translation of Romy Golan’s Flashback, Eclipse is forthcoming with Quodlibet.

My background also includes experience in the commercial sector.

Currently, I am a JSPS fellow at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan.
